l'im de Nice a peine terminé avec un marathon catastrophique,je viens de m'inscrire pour Francfort,le prix pique un peu mais l'ambiance label ironman est top,je parle pas de la pasta,mais du reste ,pour ce qui connaissent

En effet 519 euros, ca pique même bcp......j'hésite entre frankfurt et roth (330 euros)
j'ai fait frankfurt en 2008, j'ai bien aimé et jamais fait roth.....j'attends encore un peu pour me décider.

I can understand your point, but still want to try to give you some explanation:

The combination of increased event production costs and the decline in public funding resulted in a price adjustment of the races.

In addition, all races worldwide were evaluated and in the internal ranking of the 25 Ironman over the full distance European races landed best places. As the best and most high-quality races all over the globe a price adjustment of the entry fees was necessary to keep the standards in addition to the above-mentioned reasons. In international comparison, there are also large cities such as Zurich, Frankfurt and Nice in the highest-price segments. This is reflected especially in the event production costs, making a price adjustment in addition necessary.

The organizers stress the value on providing an exclusive race to all athletes. This includes a highly professional planning, organization and implementation, increased prize money and qualifying spots for the World Championships in Hawaii and Las Vegas.
