Faris Al-Sultan (#5) remains in the lead. Behind him is a group of three that includes:

* Chris Mccormack (#11) at 2:29
* Andreas Böcherer (#14) at 2:31

Eneko Llanos remains in second place -- he's 2:28 behind Al-Sultan, with McCormack 2:29 back in third.

The rest of the top-10 men through 86 km
Climbing the hill in Bad Vilbel, Jan Raphael remains alone, but his team-mate Maik Twelsiek is leading the group that includes Bracht and Brown that should catch up to the young German soon.

Through 86 km, Faris Al-Sultan (#5) is in front.
Behind him are:

* Andreas Böcherer (#14) at 2:31

Three age group competitors are sitting in the top 10 through 63 km.

Leading the women is Chrissie Wellington (#60). Then we have:

juste pour dire allez FAS .... très cool le gars !

mais Joël, attention à Llanos, il fait quand même de bon truc sur le plat à vélo (Roth et Hawaii)et à pied il peut tourner en 2h45

ici temps mausade .... mais c'est pire à Auron, il parait que c'est l'orage sur l'X terra ....

Moi je fais l'aquaprom de cagnes sur mer à 12h ....

It's still Faris Al-Sultan.

The bike course here in Frankfurt consists of a 12 km ride into town from the swim at Langener Waldsee, followed by two 84 km loops.

Through the end of the first loop, which is 97km into the ride, here are the splits for the first four:

1. Faris Al-Sultan, GER (5) 3:05.55
2. Eneko Llanos, ESP (12) +2.29
3. Chris Mccormack, AUS (11) +2.30
4. Andreas Böcherer, GER (14) +2.32

Das Trio Kujala, Krebs und Leder verliert auf den letzten Kilometern bei Kilometer 108 langsam an Zeit:
3. Wenke Kujala, GER (57) +2.07
4. Meike Krebs, GER (53) +3.32
5. Nicole Leder, GER (50) +3.41

Wenke Kujala is now more than two minutes behind Wellington, while Nicole Leder is looking uncomfortable and getting up out of her saddle quite a bit.

He was just joking with the camera man out on the course -- he hardly looks like he's struggling now!
