Tine Deckers is keeping the gap consistent to the 22-year-old from Nice! This could get interesting before this marathon is done!

Louison has moved ahead of last year's champ, Martina Dogana, but the two are still only seconds apart in third and fourth.

Zamora continues to pull away
Olivier Marceau led for so much of this day, but he's now been relegated to third as Herve Faure has moved into second. Here are the splits for the first three through 27 km of the run:

Leading the men is Marcel ZAMORA PEREZ (#1). He's followed by:
* Hervé FAURE (#2) at 5:25
* Olivier MARCEAU (#5) at 9 minutes

Billeau hangs on in fourth
Simon Billeau continues to hang in the top four - although he's now more than 10 minutes behind the race leader. Through 27 km the splits for the men are:

Marcel ZAMORA PEREZ (#1) is in the lead, followed by:
* Hervé FAURE (#2) at 5:25
* Olivier MARCEAU (#5) at 9 minutes
* Simon BILLEAU (#8) at 11:30

How;s that for an Ironman debut?

The woman from Nice continues to lead the way - she's now two run loops away from winning Ironman France right here in her hometown. I can't imagine how much support she's getting from the huge crowd out here.

Through the first half of the marathon Robin's lead has shrunk to just over three minutes.

Did Robin go out too hard? We'll find out soon as she tries to hold off the more experienced Deckers through the second half of the marathon.
